What are you having for lunch? (rolling thread)

Well at least you are eating now mate. How are you feeling?
TBH the same as always!. It's now 2 days since my 1st session, & have yet to experience any of the multiple symptoms that i may have?.
They did say these usually appear between days 2-3, & earlier today i decided to 'dip my toes in the water, to see if it was hot or cold', by walking down to Leigh Station & back up the 180 steps opp, which i've done daily for the last 5 years!.
I'm pleased to report that i did this with no probs, but if i wake up in the morning feeling like i've been hit by a bus, then i know not to do it again for a week or so!.
I had a large grilled Plaice fillet for dinner yesterday, & have a thick loin of Cod ( what else?? ) lined up for today's dinner with some mixed veg & mashed potatoes!.
Thanks for asking about me RHB

IKEA meatballs, mash, special sauce and that jam stuff.
Currently in there now. My first experience within the restaurant. Probably my last. Very chaotic, struggle to find a clean table (God knows how some people ear at home but food everywhere) The meatballs reminded me when we went to Butlins type holiday camps back in the late 80s and the colour of the peas. I don't like peas but my God the colour of them was half way between green and grey.

The healthy Scandinavian lifestyle isn’t for everyone.

We took my sister to the Lakes, Stambridge, for Sunday lunch, as it was her birthday. Incredibly good roasts available and deserts which were not for small appetites, at very competitive prices. Recommended.
They do a very nice breakfast menu as well. It's a lovely location especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outside by the lake.

We're breakfast regulars there (it's a retirement thing), but the first time for Sunday lunch.

That's one thing I haven't done yet, will have to add Sunday Lunch at The Lakes to the itinerary. Still have my Osborne's vouchers from Christmas to use up first though, hoping to wait a little while for the weather to pick up a bit.

Sunday lunch is Oct - April.

A selection from Mowgli which is a chain restaurant doing Indian street food.

It was OK but not great.
