Bath City average home crowd this season is 501.
The best average in the Conference South is Ebbsfleet 901, but strangely the highest crowd in Conference South this season was Havant v Farnborough 4,565 not sure what was going on there.

Really ? I think the official attendance of 536 is probably more likely. They only got 2382 for Preston in the Cup !

It's all about team spirit, isn't it. The players in our league are all pretty much of a muchness. If anyone's too good for the league they quickly find their way to a higher level (eg Bentley soon). That means which ever teams are the most 'together' (fit, fighting, up for it) do well for themselves. That's why a team like Accrington can turn over a team like Burton in front of 919. And it's why a team like Wycombe can go from being rubbish last season to being quite good this season without massively changing personnel. And it's why players like Will Atkinson add some value at this level.

It's funny how we all want to get out of this division yet most of the other teams in div 1 are absolutely miles away! Yes there are local teams there - Borient, Col Ewe, Gills and Creepy Crawley but three of those look like being relegated, so
to a travelling point of view, and seeing as it looks like we will be losing two far away teams to div one, we would better off staying where we are next season :'(

Not from any point of view would we be better off staying where we are next season:stunned:

Interesting mention of Will Atkinson's value to the team. So far this season Will has made 27 appearances resulting in 0 goals and 1 assist. He always gives 100% but would seriously question his benefit to the promotion push.

More importantly, what is our win percentage with him in the team compared to when he's not in the team?

I don't know the answer to that question, but it is far more important than how many goals he's scored.

You dont have to be creating goals or scoring them to add value.

That said, all of our central midfielders bar Payne have failed to contribute to our goal tally which has been the big problem all season. The likes of Atkinson and Deegan wont be creating or scoring many, but when you have those industrious players in the side you need creativity. Its why I dont want us playing the diamond formation too often as it means leaving out Worrall.

I think all 46 games being in a higher division probably *just* outweighs that consideration...
