On a more positive note, the lavatories in the west stand were spotless today. Well done to all those involved!

to be honest.. it has to be safe at RH if you sit anywhere near southend lady.. a few lively people around there, but she tries to keep 'em in check!

I think I speak for both J and myself when I say we are speaking with our tongues firmly in cheeks. Nothing happened today, and Southend is a safe ground for families, something which we can be proud of.

Sorry to go off on a bit of a tangent here, but which away trips have you found the least 'friendly'. Millwall is always an experience, but I have to say Burnley. Horrid.

Shouldnt that perhaps be a separate thread, so as not to confuse the fact that this was originally posted about todays game particularly in light of comments aimed at the SUFC supporters?

Might be worthy of a few comments in its own right...ie non friendly away days.

Actually one of my worst experiences was against Charlton when we played them at Upton Park. I was on my own and took a kicking off four of them, so I'm going for a Charlton/West Ham mix

Well done to all aswell, a much improved atmosphere today, especially in the second half.
