Also, with Benyon and Timlin being bought, the money has to come from somewhere, I'm not aware of a new source of cash that's become available, so for me, if it was 300k+ then I guess we have to sell.

3 Cup games in December which weren't in the budget would have bought in much needed cash, I'd suggext in the region of 80-100k. I believe the fee for Timlin will be around 40k, haven't got the foggiest for Benyon. If we stay in the top 3 then crowds will increase, bringing in much needed revenue.

Not so sure about that H, I reckon they effectively lost money on tickets with the reduced prices against matchday overheads.

I don't see how the club would have lost money, the 3 games bought in around 13000 fans, if you take an average of £7 a ticket that's 91k, before you take into account money taken in the bar, food outlets & shop. Ok you have to defray that against the cost of staffing, stewards & policing plus a few bob in the meter for the floodlights. No way is that gonna be in the area of 100k.

Cup money is always split, we normally get 45% if I remember rightly.

Quite agree big heads not the word. again he was on the bench today against port vale and we win 3 0 i cant see how he was ever given the opportunity to play in the first team anyway. Get rid of ferdinand asap so we can then crack on and get out of this league and also reap the rewards of his selling fee.

Its a pity whats happened with Ferdinand. Believes in his own hype too much and poses around the pitch rather than playing like he wants it as he used to.
I think a few games sitting on the bench will help to teach him that he must put it in on the pitch before any of the big boys will seriously come knocking on the door.

Sorry i must be cracking up but isnt kane a centre back, it was only sturrock that for some ridiculous reason decided to play him at centre mid, what a massive mistake as all he does is prance around the centre of the pitch with his swollen head thinking thats enough. We dont need players like him we need players that will give you 100% in every game regardless if they make mistakes or not. For god sake i wish they would just cash in on this big headed pri madonna.

At last a member with a lot of sense. I was beginning to wonder if i was the only one.

Wow. All of a sudden he's the most useless overhyped midfielder that we can't wait to get rid of.

Funny how things change. The lads a good player from what I've seen and hadn't done anything recently to go against that, just because JP has been picked over him doesn't mean Sturrock doesn't rate him either, it just means there were 2 better suited players for what we needed today.

Would I be disappointed if he was sold on? No, as long as the deal is good for the club. I'm not however like some on here rushing him out the door. Handy player with good potential IMO.
