Wembley tickets

How is it going to work for general sale anyway. Season ticket holders have until midday I believe so surely the queue for general sale won’t start until midday or is there a seperate portal as such for general sale to season ticket ones?
This is a great point,be interesting to see how it works.

If a Southend "fan" offers you a marked up ticket

NAME AND SHAME THEM ON HERE!

This club and this support has been through so ****ing much over the past few years and no so called supporter should be able to profit on it.

NO ****ING EXCUSE!

Do not buy marked up tickets! If you can't get a ticket, get the train to London on Sunday 1st June and we will watch the game on our phones outside of Wembley
or if they put on a big screen at RH again, we'll meet up there

The very thought of Shrimper fans standing outside Wembley watching it on a phone with 50,000 empty seats sickens me to the core, give us more tickets now!

Sorry just to be clear, you *need* to add the names when purchasing, or you can assign them all to yourself?

What’s the downside of assigning them all to yourself and then sorting out later? I’ve got 8 who want to come but will cut number down a lot if true fans aren’t getting tickets but don’t have exact names sorted now.
My understanding is you can assign to yourself, I bought tickets with my x2 ST and simply assigned all tickets to the names on my ST. For general sale I guess they just need at least one name of the person responsible for the ticket/seat in case you turn up on the day with a crate of blue flares and start swigging champagne at your seat.

You can assign to yourself you can’t add names of people who aren’t linked to your account as friends & family, I don’t think so anyway. Mine were all linked so maybe someone else can confirm that? I think to link they need an account otherwise you’re responsible for all tickets/persons attending.

Out of curiosity if the capacity has been reduced from 90,000 to 35,000 because one station is closed does that mean under normal circumstances around 2/3rds of fans travel via Wembley Park ? Seems so unlikely. It all feels a bit arbitrary this cap and more to do with configuration of stadium and logistics and costs than travel arrangements.

I find it hard to accept their statement you refer to, say's they have worked hard with Wembley stadium, Brent council, Met Police & the Safety Advisory group to discuss the expected predicted attendance .
All this in 2 days ( Thurs & Fri )?.
If that is true there would be no need to limit tickets. They obviously knew the number of fans who wanted to attend that's why they put on restrictions. This is just an excuse to show their arrogance and power over the supporters of small clubs outside the premiership.

I don't know if this has been thought of, but if the club are trying to source additional coaches, have they thought to contact bus companies in Essex to supply buses, as after all, it is a Sunday match day, so a normal limited bus service will be in operation meaning that they will have numerous buses idle in bus garages/depots that could be used, especially if the drivers were dangled a nice earner to work the day.

I'm trying to get some money in my account so I can attempt to get one ticket today.

How much extra costs are there with this? I'll buy a £40 ticket, so how much in booking fees and all that rubbish they add on the end?

Will the Wembley Box Office be open for sales on the day or will they make it ‘all ticket’ to deter ticketless fans.

Many of us older fans will remember going to the old Wembley stadium with 100,000 fans attending (which included 70,000 + Scotland fans once in my case) and we all managed to get there and leave the area with much more challenging transport infrastructure. The vast majority of fans will understand the long wait for a trains buses etc but at least they will have had seen us at Wembley. Just give us more tickets.

The National League hierarchy have to go. Let both sets of fans vent their frustration next Sunday
