Yep wanted to get in early to get safe standing tickets.
Was just giving some tips for general sale later today.
The main tips are don't login at midday try much earlier and get in the queue and as others have stated check you can actually login to the ticket portal well before any queues start. So try that a couple of hours before the sale starts.

I can't see anywhere Southend fans saying you are not the bigger club.

We do have many London clubs just up the road! Infact I would say more more people from Southend go and watch West Ham every game than our current 7,300 average crowd.

Yeah you were a founding member of the premier league and had what 2 seasons in the top flight in 1992 to 94? Well while that was going on in the 90s we spent 6 seasons in the second tier, so what has either of that got to do with the price of fish today?!

In truth Southend and Oldham are very similar size clubs.

You are replying to another Oldham fan. No Southend fan has called you stupid or been disrespectful.

You claim you have a ‘far’ bigger fanbase, yet we have had higher average attendances than you for at least 20 years. Why is it relevant who is ‘bigger’ anyway? Our clubs are of similar size, certainly not incomparable as you are trying to suggest.

Maybe but the issue is after 35k ticket sales are linked to coach travel that the vast majority of fans do not want.

I think their statement is very much open to interpretation. Part of tfl plan could well be the coaches. The additional 2 trains per hour and more frequent bakerloo- is that compared to what was planned on Wednesday or have they increased the trains in the past day or so?

And the most obvious, which is that their contingency caters for an "expected" 40,000 fans, not nearer 70,000.

Of course but if you follow his advice from having gone through it, you're almost certain to get yours today.

Sort your login this morning. Get in the queue 30-45 minutes before the sale starts, keep an eye on it.

If it is not the important ticket queue, it'll drop you into the site quickly. Refresh until that doesn't happen.

This whole charade is disgraceful. Don't agree with the club letting season ticket holders having 4 tickets. Should have been 2 Max. There are many loyal fans all around the country. I have loved this club for 53 years and still go to many away games with my 89 year old Dad, who was watching them pre-Roots hall days. People who don't live close and are genuine fans are being punished for not living in Essex. I can bet that many for those 4 tickets per season ticket holders are going to people who want a day out at Wembley and not bothered whether we win or not. I love this club and always will but this is leaving a very bitter taste in my mouth indeed. I don't believe the club has handled the situation very well. This would have probably have been my Dads last ever Southend game. Also I have got the car park at Wembley booked. Are the club going to reimburse everyone who can't go. I don't think so. I am not sure I want them to win now as its looking like we won't be there. I do not want to hear where everyone will be sitting. Its just winding everyone up, please stop.

You had my sympathy until you said you're not sure you want us to win as it's looking like you won't be there.

If that's how you feel, and you're that fickle, then go find another club to support. Unbelievable thing to say.

And on the point of the club reimbursing you for any other expenses, like parking space... why should they? You chose to take that punt, so it’s on you.
