Councillor Cowan played a huge part in helping get our club out of the very deep hole it was in, and is now once again doing all he can to help with this situation. What a weird comment.

In a way that would be ideal as it would then ratchet up the pressure for a solution- slower sales would have the suits sitting their hands. Sell them in 48 hrs then go absolutely potty.

Sitting here working out the permutations as buying the tickets one thing is missing unless I’m missing something. Is there a limit tomorrow on how many tickets you can buy. If it’s only 4 it creates problems in letting families sit together. What a mess

Exactly why I think we should not be selling tickets till close of play Tuesday when we might have a breakthrough with TFL

Trouble is mate it’s going to take the gloss of anyway, big part of that is not being able to block book together, this is going to leave fan groups fragmented

When further tickets magically appear they will have to let people phone up and move seats to overcome this. More work for the club who once again are the victims of utter incompetence. The bill for managing all this will need to be paid by those responsible…

It's at times like this that being a miserable bloke with no mates comes to be an advantage.

I can hopefully buy 4 on my ST, find 3 people who need the spares & who know might get a friend out of 1 or 2. Even making a vague acquaintance would be nice.

Don’t quite understand the massive queues already . All season ticket holders will be basically guaranteed 4 tickets each

Not right to lash out at STHs. It's always been the deal at SUFC for decades that a season ticket guarantees you for times like this. Suggesting that we will all sort out West Ham fans and day trippers above actual fans is poor. I will not get a ticket for any friend/family who doesn't go to SUFC.

Many are already going above and beyond to help others out. As the general sale makes genuine fans compete with everybody else tomorrow, this is the best way to ensure people in your situation get a ticket.

I am not lashing out at STHs at all. I am simply saying 4 tickets per STH is too much with the restrictions and will leave little to none for proper supporters who still go to a lot of games. Giving adults 2 extra tickets and kids 1 extra ticket would be fair. As it stands an adult and 2 kids with season tickets can get 12 which I don’t think is unfair to say is excessive considering the restrictions

Morning shrimpers.
Do all coaches leave from Roots hall or are any going from elsewhere?
This ticket issue is crazy and I feel for all us supporters that live away from the area but would definitely want to go to Wembley.
I have my dad who's in the Chelmsford area so id have to travel from the north into Chelmsford to collect him and then drive to Southend to catch a coach to go back to Wembley. Totally crazy as I'm not a season ticket holder so my chances of a ticket are slim.

I have messaged David Burton Sampson the relevant Southend MP suggesting he raises an urgent question in parliament (directed to the Sport Minister I guess)

A few should suggest likewise- even tabling the question would ramp things up
