Exactly. There are many reasons why people can’t/don’t buy season tickets. Shareholders were told that would also have priority when it
Came ticket sales.

On a lighter note and in the interest of accuracy I was speaking to my next door neighbour from Manchester and Biffo is actually big not bloody ignorant f uckers from Oldham. They were also known as ODs Oldham divs which is probably a bit too politically incorrect these days. Personally I’m very much warming to Oldham fans. Seem like salt of the earth and very much shat upon by owners as we have been and now TFL. Still want to win though of course.

before all this I was thinking that we would take more than Oldham , organise it as a singing section, and it just might give us a slight advantage, now I'm not so sure

Yeah I am as blue as they come when it comes to politics but I have to hand him credit the labour council leader of Southend, he’s always been very supportive.

Also I think it’s a strong endorsement that both LABOUR MPs are backing this seeing as they are the same party as Mayor Kahn

What they won't be able to see is the driveway parking, people arriving day before and staying hotels, people planning Ubers, buses, walking, other non jubilee line routes etc etc.

Absolutely! I'd already planned my route from King's Cross Station to Wembley entirely by frequent TfL buses in order to avoid the engineering works on the Underground lines.

I wonder whether Admins would permit us to start a spare ticket thread where the second person adds their name to the list and so on. I can see that causing trouble with people posting simultaneously but I’d be happy to administer it (and be top of the list). Perhaps let’s see where we are after close of play tomorrow. There may be developments and we’ll know how many seasos were snapped up before open sale.

Are you suggesting people needing tickets listing how many they want & then those of us who have spares can contact them.
The recipient can then delete their name?
Or the other way round?

Not every supporter lives in Southend / near the coach route
Bloody expensive for people on a budget

Indeed - the poll on travel origination is currently showing that the coach option will be useless to 75% of fans. Not enough votes to make it conclusive yet, I do expect that number to reduce but will be interesting to see how many it's just a daft option for and will likely lead to fans paying inflated prices and a waste of coach bookings

I’ve emailed my local MP, Heidi Alexander, who is the Minister for Transport. Although TFL is not under her remit she has said she would look into the matter. Heidi is also the ex Deputy Mayor for London so knows the current Mayor well.

Although I am a ST holder and have been for years my anxiety level is high atm over all of this and my heart really does go out to people who follow this club week in and out but are not ST holders as I suspect their anxieties are far worst than mine but I do feel if we can get the coaches on then that gives us a potential of 26k which will allow almost everyone that wants a ticket will get one

been quoted £330 pp in an email reply from Wembley which I will turn down when I calm down.
Theyre happy to extort people and in exchange turn a blind eye to fan number restrictions.
When I do reply I think in my email it may slip out what a bunch of slippery dodgy rinsing nonsing contriving cxnts them TFL and the NL are.

I’m still waiting for a reply from Wembley. The price on Thursday and Friday morning was £199 for us! As you say what a bunch of …….
