I've sent Sadiq Khan a private message along with his secretary as I've communicated with both in the past. Also posted on X and will pull a favour or two from one or two broadcasters.

It's a simple narrative for Oldham and Southend. "Big" clubs aren't hampered like this so treat both clubs same as them and let you guys have your day at Wembley, allowed to "fill the place" too.

There's plenty of avenues to go down, worry not, it can and will be highlighted plenty in the next week.

While as a ST holder I won't be personally at risk of not getting a ticket I know of many others who are.

This is just not a fair treatment of 'lower level' clubs

See above - if you're booked on ShrimpersTrust (and Blues on Tour?) email the club to let them know and then you won't be in the 17.5k allocation.


Although wouldn't it be simplier if the Trust and BOT just told the club how many seats they've sold????

I thought they were only referring to coach and minibus bookings made privately and NOT through the Trust or club. I stand (well.....lay in bed) to be corrected.

Done and posted separately trying to get a few folks with a decent audience to chip in.

The two key things to getting this lifted is a LOT of noise from all angles in the next 24h, and selling out the allocation we have so they can plainly see fans are being turned away.

This will be one hell of a week for the staff as I know all the stress/ deadlines Apes has being going through at Orient and it is not just about tickets there is so much more - more than I ever realised tbh

Was a season ticket holder for 15 years, shareholder and still go to a fair few games but am incredulous that I might not get a ticket for this. I have emailed a number of the National papers and encourage others to do the same and see if that might have an influence.

I'd already booked and paid for a parking ticket at Wembley (yes, I know the cost) to bring my two grandsons up from Sussex. We've been to quite a few games at Roots Hall every season, and used hospitality there, but we're not season ticket holders as we can't get to all the games. Looks like we may be screwed. What an utter farce.

You won't be screwed, I'm sure that all of us will be there. It's just going to be annoyingly more frustrating than it should have been

What a joke the NL are. Get us out of this joke. It really is a non-league organisation but only 1-3 of the clubs in it are part time. The EFL should take it over and make it League 3. Embarrassment to themselves. A chance of a record attendance for the league and they can't do it they are not fit for purpose
