Wembley tickets

The hoops the club must be having to jump through here. Sourcing extra coaches, extra venues like Festival Leisure and the Airport, trying to ensure the parking situation at those venues is viable.

The club staff must be absolutely round the clock here all because of the utterly shambolic National League.

I am going to be sat in the family block so it might have to be "Eff the National League" for me on Sunday but I'll definitely be joining in.

I spoke to two seperate casual fans today, both local. They both would have gone with a group of 4 plus.. Both sets now watching it in a local boozer. what if more tickets were released? Both said pretty much the same, too late now, arrangements made.. can’t be arsed with the hassle now, not paying extra for a coach ticket they don’t want
....and I know of a group of ten who will not now be bothering!

Hi everyone. If I get the coach tickets, do you get sent the match tickets in the normal way (by email) or will you have to pick them up after you report for duty at the coach at Roots Hall? Like lots of other people, I want the tickets for the match but don’t need a coach there (for my own reasons). I would rather be gouged and pay for the bus as long as I’m sure I can get my hands on tickets for the actual match.

PS: what a joke
@ShaneJack The tickets (both matchday ticket(s) and Coach ticket(s)) will be emailed out on or around this Thursday

Don’t know if it could be orchestrated with Oldham fans on the 17th minute for Everyone to stand up and sing **** the NL. Would be quite something on the tele id imagine
Except they’ll only be about 500 people watching on TV as it’s only being streamed on pay per view on DAZN. Nobody channel hopping is going to stumble upon this game.

Not that that will stop me singing it to shame the NL directors with the cheek to attend and deprive actual fans of a ticket.

I’ve got three tickets no longer needed.
They are category 1 in block 119.
I’m not interested in making money on these I just want the face value of 40 quid a ticket.

PM me, first come first served

@dannypav was looking for some.

I know there were some others, but I’ve forgotten who exactly

Agree that the National League are one of the main culprits in this fiasco but I am very suspicious that the H and S crowd at Brent Council together with Wembley Stadium are just as culpable.
I don't think Brent Council care about Health and Safety. I think they care about not having 50,000 football fans loitering around for two hours getting annoyed at not being able to get on a train

Questions about the coaches
1) How many have we actually got booked
2) Where are ours and Oldham coaches going to be parked
3) WTF is the M25 going to look like with all those coaches on it
4) Will it end up in a scenario where the game has started and they are still parking the coaches (same scenario as Robbie Williams at Knebworth)
5) It will probably be straight off straight on, no pub for some of the coaches

I've finally given up getting a ticket and feel absolutely gutted. My dad is 77 and wanted a big day out again after years of despair - but the logistics of getting there were already stacking out even before this utter debacle. Has just become impossible and so sad.

For years the premiership have been lambasted for their lack of care and support of lower league football. Their greed has been seen as the root of all problems. But have to be honest - when the people running the highest step of non-league football don't fight for the rights of the non-league clubs then it's no surprise that clubs are struggling. To think what the national league put our club and fans through even when we were trying to get rid of our previous chairman - points deductions, embargoes, bonds - and now this wembley farce? That's not to mention the ridiculous TV deal which withdrew any kind of general public watching the teams. Grass roots football needs to look closer at its own bodies and structure before blaming the greedy premiership for it's problems.

I'm praying my absence is a sign for a great win and we can get out of this god forsaken league and pity those clubs left who will be fighting for existence without any support.

And fair play to our club who have clearly been working overtime to try and help our fans - my goodness we have fantastic ownership now. They deserve success as does Kevin and the boys. Come on Southend - I will be cheering you on from Devon with everything I've got.

I think they’ve learned their lesson from Euro 2021, albeit the hard way.

Wembley stadium won’t care how many tickets get sold. The more the merrier, I would have thought.

TfL will do all they can (feel free to insert your own jokes here) to get as many people moving, but they’re limited by budgets/resources.

The blame for all of this confusion and disappointment comes down to the NL and Brent council, IMO.
