Wembley tickets - more to be made available 7:30pm Thursday

I've given up trying to get tickets and canceled my flights. Glad I didn't try and save myself a few bob by getting flights without free cancelation conditions.

Other than that, balls. Going to go to the Club World Cup instead. A poor substitute.
Thanks for all the suggestions but it doesn't look good. That said, I do have tickets for Inter Milan vs River Plate on June 25th in Seattle.

If you can afford it. Pay the £75 and just dont get the coach. The club cant exactly encourage you to do that. But that's the only way you are getting to the match at present if you haven't got a ticket. Absolute joke, but that's where we are.
Will that cause undue issues for those running it though?

I am so frustrated as I live in Suffolk, I can find my way there, why should I pay extra for a coach, it’s mean I potentially pay £125in total to get a ticket, which including a train from deepest Suffolk to Southend just to get a coach from there!!

No idea, but there's plenty already going to do that. Dont blame them either. If I was outside of Southend I'd be doing the same. Not sure how the club or league, police, council etc can stop that from happening. This is assuming all coach packages will be e-tickets like everyone else of course.

I think this is the problem between supporters and day trippers
St holders should have been given one ticket each , then go into general public either online or queue like the old days
Would be seriously ****ed if a Wet Sham day tripper took a Southend fan spot , just to laugh if the worse case scenario happened and we lose
Our average gate is 8,0000 , so plenty to go around to oversea fans and floating supporters then the day trippers
Just my take

And my take is that if us ST had one each only. I would be seriously ••••ed off if me and the wife (ST holders) were split up from my daughter and son-in-law (non ST, who go to some games but not all as work some Saturdays).

Just want to say how refreshing this is to hear the transparency from the club regarding this.

The Draconian days of Ron Martin are truly long gone and although I don't have a ticket to this game, I'm really buoyed for the future. I truly trust Tom Lawrence and Justin when they say the team have been working behind the scenes. Just unimaginable that this amount of effort and care would have gone in just for the fans, even 12-18 months ago.

I think this is blooming scandalous that the only way these people can get tickets is by booking a coach seat when most don’t want to and then end up paying over the odds for it all.
I reckon a few coaches may well be empty

I feel for the club who have had to do all this with their hands tied behind their backs and be blindfolded at the same time and what should have been a joyful week leading up to the game has turned into something completely different.

This joke of a rule should be dismissed like the nonsense it is. If I was Justin I’d not book the buses, charge fans and give them a voucher for the club shop or put their name down for a shirt. Stick it up the ****s.
Oh that's a good idea!!! Don't we have to have proof of coach bookings though to get tickets released? I bet there is some clause in all this .....

Serious question, (as I’m not massively clued up on this sort of thing). Is there any potential that the club takes legal action against the NL (or whoever else is deemed to have responsibility) for losses as a result of this debacle, as well as lost revenue? Not only that, but the potential loss of repeat custom from casuals who might have attended Wembley and then gone to home games etc.

Impossible to quantify an exact figure, but can imagine it’s not insignificant. Would that even have legs? Or does the cost of even pursuing it make it too much of a risk?

After reading the club’s update I’m just so angry about what a complete **** up this is. Not only impacting the fans, but potentially significant financial implications to the club too.

I’d well imagine Justin has the lawyers all over this.

Ruled myself out going following the disappointing news tickets are only available on a coach basis

I don’t live in Southend anymore, would be travelling from ‘Up North’

The cost of a train ticket alone to London has jumped to £143. Then an additional £20 to get from London to Southend just so I can get a coach back. 🤯 Leaving at 10 means I’d then have to stay the night before, so a hotel required… so another £120 minimum. So that’s £300ish before a match ticket is even purchased! - all I can say is… Thank-you National League for treating your member clubs with as much disdain as you did in our clubs worse times!

Absolute farce causes the National League, which has left me with a much inflated price than I’d initially have paid if it was full capacity and easy to purchase a week ago… so I’ll settle for a £9.99 DZAN subscription

I hope everyone enjoys their day out, and Boo any mention of the National League representation when they are mentioned.

I do hope we get out this wretched league once and for all. It’s not a league built for the bigger clubs that fall through the trap door when they least suspect. I guess it’s called ‘Non-League’ for a reason, but doesn’t mean the organisation should be as poor!

Also well done to the club who are actively trying to get as many fans to the game. They can’t help everyone, but it’s great to see all the effort.

So yet again supporters are being screwed by the authorities due to there total incompetence.Yes i understand that the safety of all fans is important but we should never have got to this. Many fans will miss out on this big day.So if you want a ticket you are forced in buying a coach ticket but many fans are likely to go deferent ways. How is that fair. There is a limit as to how many coaches can park at Wembley National League should hold there heads in shame.Lets hope after Sunday Justin and Tom get to the bottom of this fiasco this cannot happen again
