Breaking News Walker loaned to Hereford

Its only for a month tho and while O'Donovon is here Walker is unlikely to be selected anyway. Makes sense and hardly earth shattering news really is it?

Strange we look at people who come here as, pah its only for a month and then he will be back to his home team. However, when we loan someone out for a month its, right thats him gone...now what we going to do....everyone panic :D

Good news - hasnt shown anything like the quality needed for too long. Either he comes back a better player, or we get him off the wage bill - win/win.

I think it's a very sensible move for him and us. Hopefully it will give him some games and help rebuild his confidence. If he can do half as well as Hooper and Robinson, who passed before him, everyone will be well pleased.

Never lived up to his expectations so all the best Jimmy. So, that leaves us with Freedman, O'Donovan (for a month) , Barnard , Laurent. I'm guessing this move was done to allowed Prince Rajcomar come in. I hope so anyway.

You think Tilly will give Rajcomar another chance after he missed the reserve game last week?

Barnard, O'Donovan, Freedman and Laurent - pretty decent looking forward quartet there for this level. With Revs and walker also out on loan we have a lot of strength in depth there for what is otherwise a small squad.

Plus Scannell who can play up front, and Calver who is out on loan.

Doubt we will get anyone else in, 4 strikers for the moment barring injuries is ok.
Good luck to Jimmy, did well when he came here with Barney but never recovered from that miss against Donny in my opinion. Obviosuly hasnt impressed in reserves either so doubt we will see him in a blue shirt again.

i would imagine this has a lot to do with it, and tilly seeing him in training every day etc, if he was rinsing the reserve games he'd be on the teamsheet/not going on loan!
and good luck to him too, championship-leagu eone - league two, how many players over the years have we seen follow a similar pattern...! make or break time careerwise,

This is good for him, get him some confidence, goals and match sharpness hopefully. It's only for a month whilst O'Donovan's here, Walker wasn't even on the bench at Brighton.

The Tilson defintion of going out on LOAN:-

To go but never return.

Not good enough at this level pure and simple.

WTF - I backed Walker to score a first half hatrick against Oldham at 6/1 ....Booo Ron
Martin, Tilson and Dave the Kitman out.

It done sod all for Hooper, he just got a bit of service there and should never have been let go!

Beg to differ Wiggy, it brought him attention and showed what he could do away from "influences" cited as being detrimental to his development.

Spot on, infact that's exactly what his agent said. He said he was desperately trying to get Hooper up North and away from his Dad so he could prosper in his football career.
