i have to say i visit this site everyday and I'm getting a little bored/tired of the negativity, its like some people come on here just to moan - we just have to support the club as best as we can and focus on the FOOTBALL I am looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully future posts will be more about the team rather than the back room stuff which we simply cannot affect (unless you have a few £million in the bank :unsure:)

Then... based on something else posted here, everyone jumps up and down because people believed the first post in the first place clearly not quite understanding that they, themselves, are believing a post made on the internet.

The Shrimpers Trust has noted assumptions made by SZ members concerning 6 months upfront wages allegedly paid to Phil Brown, as a result of which, we asked a question of Steve Kavanagh at our recent liaison meeting.

He categorically refutes and denies that Phil has received any wage payment up front, and at the same time, confirmed that ALL staff were paid on time last month.

The Shrimpers Trust is pleased to be able to convey this message to clarify things for supporters.

Thanks for addressing those points and for actually coming on here to tell people.

Embargo has nothing to do with the current players wages .And the HRMRC may have been paid but the case doesn't come up until 2nd week of august .The embargo is in place because of other matters not related to your statement .So yes I believe the players have been paid .
