Very upsetting news

Terrible news.

At least from a footballing perspective he got to enjoy some great moments following the Shrimpers in his way too short lifetime.

It's about time we got rid of this vicious disease, too many of us know too many people who've been affected by it.

RIP Tom.

Well I know without asking I can count on a few in here for flowers.....Maybe just a fiver each ...Dts,Matt, SBH,Callan,TB,Myself..Thats £30 quid ..anymore ?

Definitely, John. Poor lad, poor family. How on earth do you even try to cope with something like this?

Rest in Peace Tom.

:(

thank you

Thanks for the the kind words, i will ring nick later tell him everyone is thinking of him. Also read on the shrimpers online forum about a possible minute silence on saturday or sumthing on te lines of that, that would be a great kind gesture by the club.

I knew tom quite well , met few years ago when we was little , loved the blues to end he was a great laugh , always making us laugh , often went to away games with him . Tom was a great kid who was full of energy and even with cancer he seemed the same old tom , will be greatly missed by all the boys in the west stand. We have certainly lost a character. Always smiling and was very pashionate about the blues.

Cant belive hes gone , going to miss him so much. hopefully there is a minutes silence at saturdays game. would be a nice gesture from the club.

Rip Tommy Boy

Condolences to nick and the fammily , My thoughts are with you at this hard time.

Ed

Very upsetting news, I didn’t know Tom very well, but sat with him and one of his friends on the train on a few away trips last year, coming back from Hull springs to mind, he sure made that trip home go a lot quicker.

My condolences are with his close family and friends and all who had the pleasure of meeting him, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Like many I've lost very close family to this terrible disease, but at such a young age that is a tragedy. Count me in as well.

Just a thought but if there are pledges for a reasonable amount wouldn't we be better giving it to MacMillan's or Cancer Research? I'm sure the family will hear of our support & funding to the likes of MacMillans can do so much, as I know from personal experience.

Having known Tom from the days of King John he was a lovely lad who was a credit to his family. Even during his battle with cancer he never gave up on the blues and still went to away games

Our deepest sympathy is with Nick and family during this tragic time
