Really impressive signing...well happy!! Always impressed and has a great delivery. Saw him play for Millwall and whenever I've seen him on tv he's stood out. When he was at Palace as a youngster they thought very, very highly of him and he's clearly young enough to make a big impact.
Also, shares his name with former fan favourite from late 80's/ early 90's

Just had a text from a friend to say we've got Shane O'Connor from Ipswich. Anybody heard anything on this, or is it just a case of someone getting their wires crossed?

Crawley eye up Mohsni

Today's Echo reports that Steve Evans is keen to swoop for our Bilel.

I would think this is true and once speculation like this increases it is hard to get its claws out of it and not let go.

We all know his departure is on the cards but if he goes there will you be disappointed?

And could he become a target for our boo-boys when they come here in a league fixture should he join them?

Not just for our dislike of Crawley but also as they are a promotion rival.

Over to you.

I'd offload him for nothing with a sell on fee and a requirement to take Patterson as part of the deal. Solves three problems in one.

Mixed feelings. Real talent so would be sad too see him go but he is liable to loose you as many points as he will win for you.

I am also told my a friend of mine that he is hated by all most all the playing staff so maybe long term it's best.

Bilel could probably do with a fresh start, the players allegedly don't like him, Sturrock has given him too many chances, I'd say go for it as long as we're being offered good cash for him

I don't get it. Did we win the lottery or have deals for Ferdinand, Hall and Bilel already been lined up?

Gambling on promotion on the back of brinksmanship with the revenue and still no new ground doesn't seem like good business to me.

I know I should be more positive but I just don't see this tieing in with the supposed actions to bring our cashflows into a manageable state

I agree ORM. Where is this money coming from? Our wage bill must be the highest its been for some time, the likes of Harris, Benyon, Martin, Dickinson, Barker all must be on good money. Paying transfer fees is something we havent done for a while and suddenly boom Timlin, Martin and Benyon all paid for. Can only assume behind the scenes the club have saved money and are trusting Luggys judgement.
Either that or we are going to see 2 or 3 big names go. We need to ditch Pato, Crawford and Asante asap. I wouldnt bother renewing Blairs contract and would take a good offer for Bilel and Kane. Otherwise, we really are teetering on the edge, and failure to get promotion could cost us dear.

Be a disgrace if we get rid to a rival he is probably the biggest talent at the club he is 100% committed on the pitch and always gives 100% yes he has a porr disciplinary record but so does grant, hall and timlin.
It would be foolish to let him go to Crawley.

When he is back match fit he would get straight back in our team at the mo we lack his flair and desire. Why dont we get rid of gilbert he is the one who had the biggest issue with.

I can see Bilel staying, paterson, asante, gilbert, sturrock and nesbitt all off

Cant offload crawford due to him recently having a op and injured. I think there may possibly be a decent deal in the offing for ferdinand and maybe hall also
