I get Kev’s frustration with leaks and speculation from LS or frankly anyone saying this is happening. Why share anything that is not 100%? It’s detrimental to us if there’s even a chance it derails a deal we’ve progressed at 11th hour by giving negotiating power to a player / agent or alerts another club. Wanting to be a step ahead and report first is driven by ego and imo not in the best interest of the club

I’ve never had clarity whether he was a target or not.

He was my number 1 choice for a LWB, but that means nothing.

Our fan base is something else. This time last year we didn’t even know if we could start the season. So what we didn’t get A certain Crawley player. So what we didn’t get Warren, so what we didn’t get Brookes. We move on. Have people forgotten Wembley and where we are now? Slav looks a decent prospect and Austin is ready made for the NL. Two good signings. I’m sure more will follow but let’s take a deep breath and just calm down. I’d love all three players but one went to L2, one to L1 and another to money bags York. It’s football after all.

I would doubt that. He is and always has been very clear that he doesn't interfere with transfers, and trusts John Still and his team.
