Never been impressed with Tshimanga each time I have seen him - sorry, doesn't stir my emotions but if he were to pull on a Southend shirt I would be right behind him in terms of support.

Hoping the club are looking at some experienced midfield players from the leagues above - someone with some nous could make a big difference in turning draws to wins & thus adding some useful additional points to the tally.

Not sure what I think about Tshimanga, when he was at Borehamwood the first time I would have been over the moon with it. Post his injury at Chesterfield he has been ok. However, he knows where the back of the net is and knows this league.

Darragh McAnthony was talking about him on his podcast and said he would let him go for something like £300k. I would assume it would be on loan, personally think he’ll end up in League Two.

Tshimanga is an extremely lazy player that won’t press and will frustrate but is explosive in front of goal 108 goals from 215 appearances over the last 5 years in this division and league below.

Although his record in league 1 looked poor he did score 2 from 7 starts having jumped 2 divisions.

He will certainly stretch the budget but with balls flying in from GSM and eventually Bridge he could be an excellent partner for Cardwell

Regarding Kabs he knows where the goal is plus knows this level too which is a bonus if I had the choice of him over dackers for example . I would defo choose kabs him and cards could be solid imo .
