Agree, he never really left the ground when he jumped. Held it up well at his feet, but took nothing in the air.

Same with Cards really, he jumps a lot but doesn’t really get near the ball or do much effectively with it in the air.

Both big men who play much better with it being pinged to their feet.

Cardwell wins more flick ons than any big man we've had up front since Hopper, imo. Certainly deserves to be recognised as more effective than Kargbo, Acquah, et al!

I agree. Looks a useful player. One problem though, I cannot see Altrincham wanting to do business with us again in a hurry.

Yes. One that is destined to move back to the EFL at some point. Perhaps with us?

We have 'slots' to fill in the 16 following Kanu and Mooney departures, but they can, while under embargo, only be loans or on non-contract terms.
