I like the look of Ben Brookes of Maidstone United, can't confess to having seen too much of him but judging off stats, he's been in the NLS TOTW a considerable amount of times this season. According to the sofa score stats (which is probably one of the best sources for stats) say he's only had 3 games in his last 20 that have been lower than 7/10 which shows great consistency.

On top of this he has contributed to four goals and seven assists whilst helping Maidstone to having the best defensive record in the league.

Just done some digging and he started out at Basildon so he's presumably local and also played for Chelmsford. Would be surprised if he wasn't on our radar. He's also 23 would would indicate he's got potential.

Be a strange one now I feel, but with Colin out and harness going if we can get him till the end of the season then won't be the worst thing, the problem here tho is keeping them all happy, they are all at points in their career where they will want to play and 3 seems a bit excessive, but he will bring some experience in helping Colin and Hayes.

My bet for Justham’s destination would be a local ish club, but not here.

I actually wouldn’t mind Justham coming in until the end of the season.

Hayes is still young so a number 2 with Justhams experience is only going to benefit him.

Surely you would prefer Hayes and Justham rather than Hayes and an unknown loan.

Let’s not forget that parent clubs will be expecting there loaned players to be playing games and I suspect Hayes will be number 1 limiting game time to a loanee goalkeeper

I think if it’s a deal to the end of the season then Collin will still be here next season, if the deal is for 18months then it will tell us Collin is off … don’t forget Collin is out for the rest of this season so we desperately need another GK that isn’t a loan and expecting first team football, Justham is about as good as that is available for that role.

You would think with the correct policy of in depth DD relating to potential signings that we would not consider overweight so called professionals. Hope Justham doesn't come near us. He is nothing special anyway. Such a shame about Collins injury as IMO opinion he is superior to Hayes and Justham

And how long would a loanee last if his not playing ? He would be recalled pretty swiftly
