Transfer news
Hold on for the ride guys and gals. The Play-offs are well and truly on now with all this strengthening of the squad. You can forget about relegation now, those that were mentioning it.
Here's how it works for anyone that doesn't know.

National League.
The clubs finishing second and third automatically proceed to a semi-final at their home grounds, while the clubs in fourth and fifth stage compete in qualifying round ties against the teams finishing seventh and sixth. The winners of those matches then complete the semi-finals.

This signing is just what we needed. An athletic box to box attack minded midfielder. It's harder to get names now, but I'm told we'll also be very pleased if the next deal gets done.

Well I said in the Kev out thread that COSU need to back him or sack him. They have backed him. Now all we have to do is keep turning up as we have, and roar them into the Play-offs.

Agree, I saw something on Twitter saying he was out injured for 3 months posted in January. Was not in their team on Saturday. Also only signed for Yeovil in June
Yep:

I wonder if he was one we were in for over the summer but lost out because of the embargo?

We’re not doing well with all the strikers in the division we’re after apparently getting injured for three months - this follows Adwarka.

Anyway, think he would have been a decent signing. Not going to set the world alight, but an experienced (200+ matches) mobile targetman who can lead the line, run the channels, hold the ball up and get his head on the ball. Just turned 27 this last week. The sort of signing like Cav or Harry Taylor that maybe underwhelms fans when announced but can make a team tick. Wouldn’t mind pairing him with a young hotshot. It would be a more surprising transfer if we added him to Hopper and Bonne.

The national league player southend is interested in is apparently Aaron Jarvis
My son has been saying we should have signed him a few seasons back when he was doing well in a crap Torquay side. Would be a decent signing for us IF FIT . But we need to stay well clear if he is injured for three months especially with a hamstring type injury unless we are trying to get him in early ahead of the summer

Shame terrific scoring record over past 5 YEARS with Sutton, Scunthorpe, Torquay and Yeovil. Very consistent scoring, 39 goals in 144 games during that period. That works out at about 1 in 3.7 !!

Why would we need yet another striker With only one loan keeper and Colin on the injury list Another keeper will help our cause All we need is the loan keeper to be recalled by his club Then we would be up **** street without a paddle .

well the new signing did well to escape that French hell hle and forge a new life ,hopefully he can do the same for us , They even made a great film about him . OOPS sorry that was Papillion , wrong bloke .Anyway welcome to my club mate ,hope you can settle in well and help us obtain EFL status again.
