Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Rumours Etc part 2.....2024/25

Transfer news
I’m confused why COSU would need to make an “urgent statement” if they chose not to sign a player. Pretty sure it would be a case of not seeing that player as good value or what the selling club (or player/agent) were demanding was too high. In Hopper’s case it’s a player that we’ve not even signed yet!! I do feel we need to sign players but not if it’s not the right deal.

Sarcastic undertone detected, Barry, but you've got to stop looking enviously at other clubs' signings.

If we haven't signed them then it's because we weren't interested, or because we but were beaten to the signing by another club for whatever reason. It's that simple.

Tom Lawrence seemed to suggest at the Trust AGM Q&A that they hadn't started on the data stuff yet.

The football department isn't hugely keen on the loan system, rightly or wrongly, and again.....if these guys are signing for part-time Wealdstone, then I can't imagine they'd improve us very much.
Hardly an undertone, its pretty much out there as blatant!
and of course sometimes it helps

" The use of sarcasm, in fact, promotes creativity for those on both the giving and receiving end of sarcastic exchanges. Instead of avoiding . things "

I cant stop looking enviously at other clubs signing given our state, and will continue to closely review what other clubs are doing to assist their promotion push and relate it to oiur club and what we might do or try
Sorry if you are offended buy it
I notice though you have been taking a seemingly differently line regarding the club as a Trust Man, doesnt quite seem to be in touch with many a Zoner??Supporter s views , Very much in the club
defensive mode these days?
