Transfer Embargo, Winding Up Petition & Staff Salary Issues

I ****ing despair I really do.

It's like we are being steered by the captain of the titanic who can't see the iceberg even though every technical instrument is telling them there is something wrong and lookouts are phoning in to change course

Why’s it unnecessary? They should be doing everything they can to get rid of that man like any other trust would, he’s a disgrace of an owner and isn’t fit to run this or any club
How can the Trust get rid of him out of interest? Murder?

The moratorium surely has to be over and protests need to restart (without disrupting the team in my opinion). Ron won't listen of course. But we can only try.

Mr Martin if this is true ,when will you truly sell the club and let all the loyal supporters rest in peace without all the stress you are putting upon us., You say you love this club prove it and sell it ,be an honest man show your love for this club and for the city of Southend.

If this is true, which it almost certainly is with journalist of Matt Slaters quality, then this is not a surprise at all.

We know Ron Martin has not got the funds to operate the football club until more monies have been released and in my opinion at least until the stadium is completed (the club would disagree with the latter point).

What I really hope, is that it has been a balancing game here and that Ron etc have chosen to prioritise the staff wages over the HMRC. Does anyone know if staff have been paid today?

This is going to be a continual thing until at least the new year under the current ownership and it’s obvious the club are going to have to make the decisions as to who is going to get paid and when.

The question for me really is how long are the national league going to put up with this s*** show?

Guess the only positive is that we dont need any new players in at the moment so the embargo shouldnt impact on us too much at the moment. But its not really a positive
Which may be the reason that RM has chosen now to not pay someone that leads to an embargo. It is possible that he has liaised with the management team before doing this.

Either way, it's still pretty ****.

Any 'Martin Out' protests are absolutely pointless, and an unwelcome distraction for the playing staff and players. He's not going anywhere. His pot of gold has never been so near. We just have to put up with this crap until all the development is done, and he retires to enjoy his riches.
It might not get the desired result but I think it would make everyone feel a bit better.
