Ah, but are they "very very reliable" ?? :sherlock:

Blimey, possible bad news = Wiggy on board shocker.
If true this will this leave Lee Sawyer in a limbo like state as we cant sign him and Chelsea cant sell him?
.....and you are the biggest culprit of giving patently obvious shi t players more time and believe everything that Ron says to appease you!
Where did you hear that?
I like the way most people are jumping the gun on this one. Its been mentioned by two people on here so far, and to my knowledge none of them have provided genuine inside knowledge before.
Actually a fan of your posts Jai, so don't take that the wrong way.
Assuming for a moment that this might be true ("very very good source" after all), are these things generally contingent on something happening at which point the embargo is lifted? I'm guessing it would be, but I have no idea either way.
Ie: Have we, for example, been placed under a transfer embargo until we pay some random player that bag of peanuts we still owe him? Or would any such embargo last for a defined period of time by way of a punishment?
I heard Palace had been given an embargo for not paying the right money for a player. That was on SSN this morning and it said it would be lifted when the monies had been paid across.
I can't see how that would apply to us though - we haven't bought anyone!
I thought Chelsea just couldn't buy players? Not sell.
Don't believe this for a second, we are in the financial quagmire but i can't see this being true, especially seeing as we've got O'Donovan on loan now. Oh and someone said Lee Sawyer said Chelsea can't sell Sawyer? They can an i'm pretty sure that Huddersfield or Millwall would make a decent bid for him.
Just out of interest, why IS the club struggling (perceived or otherwise) so much. I know we have large debts, but are they not mainly to Ron's company so they are not going to be calling the debts in other than a last resort. I don't believe our wage bill is going to be huge, we have bigger crowds then a lot of clubs with our 'history', have generated a reasonable amount in transfers and revenue, seem well run with the marketing department etc, are well considered within the community, probably sell decent amount of mercandise compared to clubs with our history..... Is it basically impossible to succeed with a club our size unless someone puts money from their own pockets to bank roll things?
If so I guess that further points to the need for a new stadium, if being well run and frugal with wages is not enough to keep a club going by traditional means and a new stadium is needed to generate the extra revenue....
Im curious why you said Huddersfield or Millwall? Is that just pure speculation?
