He is a good player, a little head strong (temper) which is never good when you have Palo as your boss! lol. He is fast but honestly, is better as a sub coming on rather than a 90 minute man.

Benson is the better of the two, but they link up well.
 
Will be a disgrace if we don't sign anyone today. I know there are a few hours left, and I am pretty sure something will happen, but getting a tad worried now.
 
Swindon must have quite a bloated squad, perhaps we could nab Benson and Rooney. Its really centre mid where we need some bodies though, a bit of grit and muscle.

That was the tweet this morning. Being under contract there might be some issues, or we are looking at loan deals.
 
Sturrock can talk to any player but it does not mean he is going to sign any one, just typical Southend

press talk, to keep you and me in suspended animation, and looking at this site it works ????

He has actually signed 5 players in pre-season.

On the other hand I'd be really surprised if Rooney went out on loan when he's only just come in.
