SUFC: The Future Training ground

It's safe to say that no stone has been left unturned in the planning for these temporary ones.

Even if they are portacabins/adapted containers- they **** all over Boots and Laces.

The best thing about B+L was the old function suite that was adapted to incorporate the gym. That was a decent enough size, just a shame about the leaking roof and rundown condition of things (or all of it!).

For me personally, I have many happy memories of B+L. From coaching on the astronturf, to ShrimperZone FC training there, to some brilliant MTBDs to some lovely Senior Shrimpers meals, to having lunch meetings with regards to player appearances and more - It has served the club well but it certainly is time to move on!

The back room team have done an awesome job in ensuring that the confidence remained high over the last few seasons whilst using the facility (plus other things out of there control). It just shows what brilliant morale the squad have had when the chips really were down and how the backroom team went above and beyond.
