SUFC: The Future Training ground

Thanks for the pics. They show what a dilapidated and depressing site our team have been dealing with recently. Great to see the back of the place, a true sign of a club moving forwards. Long may that continue.

Is the training ground complete or is there still work going on?
No idea really but it is sort of phased as they have the top 2 pitches to turn into 3g pitches yet which will be hired out and they will also have to build more facilities at that end of the ground for those and another entrance. The current huts are or were originally just a temporary fixture until the club could afford a proper building.

I will try to get over there in the next week or so to grab a few pics.

Seems to me they train there and they have temporary cabins for them to change and go to toilet etc. Certainly not ideal considering it looks like it'll be that way for a long time. They clearly still use B&L for certain things such as the gym and potentially eating etc but the state of that is embarrassing. Imagine being a potential player and seeing the two training grounds, you'd be cringing whilst showing them around.

I thought the blueprints for the training ground showed that all of the cabins would incorporate those facilities. When, or indeed if, they are open I don't know.

Yes mate.
Wow didn't know that, I've seen a few cabins in the background of the odd video but didn't realise it was to that extent. Would be good for the club to give us a little video tour maybe. I always thought it was a bit odd to only have three training pitches over there but perhaps they're happy with that.
