to be honest i think black has been doing a lot better than gower lately, but he always fades in the second half, so maybe the problem is still tilly not using his subs wisely, gower even on an off day can sometimes just provide that one bit of magic that can win a game, but both players need maybe scannell biting at their ankles for their position, they need that competition for ther positions and then maybe they will just give that little bit more. both of them on their day are outstanding.

I like Tommy Black. Bit hit-and-miss but I think he is an exciting player. Much prefer him to JCR.

I thought JCR was as ineffective going forward but at least JCR used to get back and try and defend.

I blame Black for Forest's equaliser as he had two warnings there bloke was looking to break forward and did nothing. The third time was there goal.

I also think half the reason Francis looks as fantastic as he does at the moment is he gets so much practise defending as Black offers no support at all.

Agreed Dave, Tommy's been poor last few games I've seen, time to take him out for a bit, Grant or Scannell deserve a chance.
