John, the Thursday after the play off final 29/May could be a good day.
i am still really regretting coming home and polishing off a bottle of wine.........but i don't think anyone noticed on here last night...... :whistling:
29th May is good for me, it's Whitsun week so some may be on hols but that's their problem!

Had a marvellous time yesterday, both pre-match & at the BBQ too.
Great to finally meet a whole number of legends from here although there are still 2 or 3 posters I am eager to track down. Also, goes without saying it was also good to catch up with a number of the usual suspects who I'd already met at various games around the country before too. Special mentions to BAG, Stereoscene, Callan (& Mrs) and Canvey for keeping me entertained throughout the evening too (particularly Canvey's double-act with Firestorm about days of yore!)
Been in the door about 90 minutes from my journey home, a total faff of a day. Got dropped off by MK at Stansted at 10am (flight wasn't until half 3) so sat in the sun listening to some tunes and reading my book & All at Sea. Landed back in Edinburgh early but then had issues with trains back across this side of the country. Missed my train back to Glasgow by a couple of minutes & so had to wait half an hour then that one was 2 minutes late & I missed my connecting local train back to the outskirts of the city by a matter of seconds and so had to kill another hour before my next one!
I'd love for SZ & The Spread to organise another one of these days, first and last home game each season maybe should become tradition?
No hangover mate? Seem to have your number in my phone??

Nope, no hangover today (I hardly mixed my drinks unlike in Liverpool last weekend when I was decidedly ropey on the journey home).
Yes, you gave me your number, in case you ever find yourself up this neck of the woods, remember? What happened about the wallet?
Did you hurt the bottle of Spicy Rum ?
Not sure of how regular we could do this as it's bloody hard work for a few people, the busier the pub the more grief for the staff.

Hey you were getting paid for being there. I wonder what the bar take was..the pub ran out of glasses in the first session, let alone the party....It was nice to see the whole place packed.
I do feel a First game of the season Party next year is a top idea.
