I didnt see that. What was Jobson doing to be restrained by his own stewards?Dave Jobson was being restrained by a couple of the stewards on the pitch after the game. He then marched off with a rather angry looking Steve Kavanagh and another bloke in a suit in hot pursuit.
The police filming people is a deterrent as people are more likely to think twice before causing trouble.
Not as much of a deterrent as 30 uniformed officers and a police dog, though, I would think.
Firstly this game should have KO at 12ish !
Secondly the stewards should have been a proper mob able to deal with any trouble!
Thirdly the blues fan who did the deed will pay the price in full!
What a legend the guy will become. Charging the Col Ewe with fist primed. From where I sit in the East Stand it was a site to behold.
Part of me was glad it happened. Reminded me of the days of old when anything could go down at anytime. Roots Hall is our turf. Col Ewe were fighting with the stewards, our lone punchman had had enough, so he springs from his seat, premeditation engrained in his body language. Wallop. Take that you northern rabble. And then, when the Col Ewe go after Bolger, what appears to be the same man again, leaps out of the west stand, defends his player, and upholds the honour of the club. Had I been over there and seen an attack on one of our players, I may well of weighed in too. Of course part of me wishes the trouble had never happened. But part of me thought - go on my son!
I enjoy not being banned thanks :)
Yeah. Read the rest of my comment Andy.

I'm sure my opinion is echoed by many. Part of me was glad the Col Ewe got it served back to them. And part of me is a little saddened at what happened. You should have seen what used to go on in the sixties and seventies. Yesterday was nothing in comparison. So some youngsters saw some football agro, so what. So did I when I was a lad, far far worse stuff than yesterday. And so did loads of our supporters who attend to this day. It hasn't put them off supporting us has it.
I would say though that kids shouldn't be sat in close proximity to our more lively supporters That was a mistake by the club.
The sight of those two guys single handedly charging the Col Ewe after their antics, will live long in my memory. They defended their club under intense provocation. I'd buy them a drink. And that is my opinion.
