Ayrshire Blue

The Custard Splat
Liability!!!! Walking yellow card whenever he's on the pitch

shave your beard and pull your shorts down.... Oh! 🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚

4 yellows and first red puts him 3rd on the naughty step hierarchy just half though of Deegs current record. Atko surprisingly second with 6 yellows. Not sure if Timmo can play on Saturday?

Such a shame, I honestly think we play so much better with Timo in the side, but he has had to bide his time to get back in the side. Tonight he came on and had a chance to stake a claim to start on Saturday and blew it. Guess he was just to eager.

Cant wait to see Deegan back in the squad for the derby game on Saturday :winking:

If you think Colchester have head injuries currently.... just wait until half time..... the pitch will look like the opening beach scene from Saving Private Ryan! :hilarious:

For all the Timlin lovers and the Deegan haters, you have been made to look like mugs, so much crap was spouted about Deegan. Not only was Timlin a liability last night his play was awful for the short time he was on, absolutely pathetic. At least Deegan contributed a solid 45 mins against Coventry.

All this crap about a beard and shorts making him a target for refs, just listen to yourselves

You mean refs don't actually book players because they have a beard?

First red this season maybe but he got a red at Oxford couple of seasons ago. I agree that if it was Deegan, it would be hellish on here. The tackle when already on a yellow was horrendous, just for the intent alone. It was at the far end so difficult to see but replays show, it was awful. He should share his win bonus with the 10 that managed to grab a great win.

Yes but it would seem that we have a new tactic in winning with 10 men! Brown you genius, he told Timlin to play like a tit and it paid off!

The Deegan thread was started because some people think he was being picked on by refs because of his appearance and therefore defending his bookings and sending off - people were even clapping him when he got sent off against Coventry.

I don't see anyone defending Timlin, and rightly so, but maybe we should, I mean he probably fouled their best player and rattled the team, in which case that must be acceptable (because it is for Deegan)

Timlin got himself sent off. He has been around long enough to know that it was a very stupid thing to do, especially when he has just got back on the bench and was sniffing for a starting place again. Maybe this will be the start or continuance, of him being disaffected with the club through inactivity, and Brown may become disaffected with him. I hope not, but he is no use to us at all pulling a red. Time will tell.

Get the Deegan irony, but still don't understand why there's a thread on here every time someone gets a red card questioning whether he's let us down / let the team down / should ever play for us again. Red cards are part and parcel of football - we all know it's a pansy's game compared to Rugby but if a bit of physical contact offends you that much, go and watch the ballet.
