francis is a good player... but don't forget he is young and very much still learning. Hunt also has championship experience and a calmer head that Francis but there is no doubt that Francis is the bigger talent

Why do people still waste their own time and others by criticsing Tilly. 5 points from 9 , 2 draws away from Home and a very convincing victory against a very strong WBA team - and still people think that Tilly and Brush should be targetted for negitive emails.
Francis is better than Jupp - no question, if Hunt starts , that makes our right back stronger than last year.
Clarke (now at Centre Back) is proving an excellent defender.
Hammell at Left Back, I personally rate him, good in the tackle, excellent at set pieces good in the air , least with him and wilson we are covered in that position.
Macca - better than Bentley, hate to say it as I adore Benno, but Macca is a Championship version of Benno.
Harrold / Paytner - dont think we have seen enough to judge yet, Bradders is proving an excellent foil for Fred thou, if Freddy left, Harrold and Paytner will get the chance.

macca isn't a championship version of benno... he is definitely a better player but Benno was definitely box to box... macca will never have Benno's scoring record.. even in League 1 or 2

Despite all the bickering going on, i doubt anyone really thinks Tilson should go, but at the same time, you cant really sit there and say that he is utterly faultless.

I think he is the man for the job, and has done a wonderful job, but i also think he has made some bad signings !

If you are looking to stay up in this division, you have to look further than league 1 players like Paynter and Harrold. You need a striker who will definitely get you goals. Col******r got Cureton.. thats the type of experienced player we needed to play with Eastwood. We needed another goat

I despair the prospect of life without Freddy, given our current crop of forwards, and the fact that we are now not a very attractive transfer proposition, hence we are looking at untried strikers rather than experienced goalscorers.

It will be tough staying up unless we do well in the transfer market.. despite playing well in games, we leak too many, and dont score enough... a recipe for relegation in any division

I'm still enjoying it though... much better to be at coventry than cheltenham

I noted in Jamals post match interview he said how much he loved playing with Bradbury in the side as he knows the kinds of runs he makes,etc. Perhaps no coincedence that JCR's recent good form has coincided with Bradders being fit again.
