Tilson, we are bottom,

wiggy

Darryl's Love Child
Another team there for the taking so what does Tilson do, play for a point. Bradders and Prince Harry would not score in a month of Sunday's, Freddy and Hoops do score so why the negative team selection yet again. We actually knocked it about quiet well until it got to the powder puff boys, Bradbury although not a goalscorer has his uses, however Harrold is literally no better than Danny Webb and we all know what a star he was!

Where in the hell did I say I was happy with a point today? Assumption is the mother of all fuk ups Wiggy, get my meaning?

I was just pointing out that with JCR & Clarkey now thankfully starting to produce the goods you seem to have got your claws into another couple of players. Four down, seven to go. Keep going, come the end of the season there won't be a player left that hasn't tasted your venom.

The post was highlighting the negativety of our manager by playing two inadequate so called strikers whilst 2 proven ones were for some unknown reason sitting on the bench.

Proven?
Granted, Freddy is a proven goalscorer but as has been reported he apparently isn't fully fit through illness and I can't for the life of me think which other striker you could be referring to when you say proven, certainly not at this level.

Wiggy, I'm not disagreeing with the premise of your post. I agree, both Harrold and Bradbury are totally ineffective as a strike partnership but it's the way in which you put your point across with such vitriol and venom that I have difficulty in understanding.

Read Ashingdon Shrimpers thread which makes very much the same point as you do but without berating the manager or the players in such a way as you do.

Have to agree!

He should have started Eastwood and Hooper.

Harrold is worse than Bramble and Belgrave put together.

Bradbury isn't a centre forward.

Wayne Gray would have had his uses this season, but oh well Tilson you know better than us, not!

TTK, best you put your resume in to the club then seeing as you obviously feel you could do a better job than Tilly & Co - not.

I'm glad you feel Tilly/Brush have made such quality signings this season.

Signings that contribute to a team that will cement a place in midtable.

Players that work their socks off week in, week out and show passion to wear the blue of SUFC.

For all i've seen is a team that chooses where and when to play as a team, eg Man Utd and Southampton at home.

"Oh lads, we've got Man Utd at home next, cool, lets play 110% as a team for that game. And we'll do that against Southampton too. All the others we can just take it easy cause we'll win every game and stroll to a place in the play offs."

Yeah, Southampton are a massive game. Birmingham obviously isn't on the same scale. I can only assume that quoted section is a wind-up because I find it quite insulting to most of our team's professionalism.

There's so much rubbish about player effort on here. Today, I thought every player worked tirelessly and that's been the case in most games this season. Unfortunately, we've not been well enough organised at the back or creative enough up front to win games.

We were playing against a side, away from home, that have signed, in Ward and McKenzie, two players for 7 figure sums. Each of these players probably represents more than our entire transfer budget for the season but we matched their team on their own patch and could well have won the game. I can't imagine Kyle came too cheaply either.

Why does it have to be pointed out time and time again that we can't buy players guaranteed to be sensational. I'd be surprised if there is a manager in this league who has signed a player for anything under £250k who hasn't turned out to be disappointing. In our case, the most we can spend on players is always going to be a gamble.

No doubt Col******r will be cited as a reason for our failure again and yet again, there is the clear explanation that all their squad was cut out for League One, proven and settled whereas ours had to be chopped and changed. If that isn't enough, maybe their gamble just came off whereas ours hasn't.

In response to the original post, Freddy probably wasn't fit in spite of hearsay and Hooper, perhaps is too young.

But at the beginning of the season you said you were impressed with people like Francis, as has been quoted back to (and conveniently ignored by) you.

I think we should have a designated area at the Hall where people like TTK and Wiggy can meet and moan and wail and knash their teeth and put the world to rights. They really are a match made in heaven

Sorry I forgot, it's called the west stand

i suppose they could sit in the west stand and join the group of men who moan 5 minutes into the game.

Oh,hahahahahahahahaha, very good, your a born funny guy, get an agent, prepare for the stage! TV and Film! Thats a classic, I never heard that one before.

And you lot take the **** out of Wiggy for being predictable. The word your looking for is honest when slagging him off.

Now what was that word I was looking for, for some of you lot?

Honesty? I can't say I've seen wiggy commenting on where Flahavan was for virtually every cross they put in yesterday including the goal that forced us to chase a game we were well capable of winning.

Don't get me started on Flavs. He is without doubt the most dedicated, consistent proffesional in the team, shame Mr.Eastwood isn't so keen. If someone deserves a higher level of football then it is Flavs, someone as technically as good you will not find, even in the Prem. Await the 'but he is not good on crosses' crap, have you seen most of the jokers now masquerading as keepers currently in the division above, i firmly believe that he would be a bigger success than Eastwood!

Being soft on crosses is one thing that might afflict Premiership keepers.

I'd like you to name me a Premiership keeper who doesn't claim or punch crossed balls and corners on the edge of their six-yard box. It was pitiful but horribly predictable. Flavs is a fantastic shot-stopper and some time ago I thought he had made progress on claiming crosses but yesterday was extremely poor.

That's not even starting on the times where the ball went to the back post and our players knocked it behind for a corner that we would then struggle to clear. The corner they scored from, I couldn't be certain. After that, I looked specifically at Flavs to see if there was a shout.

You're having a laugh if you think a keeper can play in teh Premiership with no control of his six yard box and no communication with those in front of him
