the word ****

Absolutely fine with the increased use of this word - it has been noticeable over recent years how much it is said - but not a word you generally hear over this direction every day of the week...whenever i am back in essex i hear it many times each day and for a period of time on my return to Ireland i seem to go on the rampage with the 4 letter word :D

I was using it so much after returning from the match against Doncaster this season that my french missus actually let the c word slip a few times herself...picture a french accent saying **** - i laughed so hard :hilarious:

Well thats the beauty of all these different words you see. If you were trying to get in the mood you wouldnt tell a woman you were "hoping to chop into her axe wound tonight" - perhaps a more subtle "Id love to make love to your flower tonight" would be more appropriate.

No words needed here from Mr MK Love Doctor....a shimmy of the hips and you're left asking if you can use the toilet...

I remember that Jermain Greer programme about the word ****, it was used about 20 times, probably more during a half an hour show! I thought it was great, if it annoys the PC brigade than all the better!

****s. :D

Anything that annoys the PC brigade is all good in my book. Now that lot really ARE ****s... ;)

I dont know about the rest of you but in the last couple years I have noticed the increased use in this delightful four letter word.

More and more "sensible" people are using it in everyday life. Sometimes it comes from the mouth of someone you wouldnt ever in your wildest dreams have imagined them saying it. When I hear someone unexpected come out with I feel a small amount of pride.

I for one think increasing the use of this word is nothing short of GREAT. Peronally I am a massive fan and theres nothing more satisfying than using it to help clear your anger. It is the ultimate insult and it makes for even better hearing when it is coupled with an attachment at the beginning, for example - you FAT **** or your THICK ****. It works well in a moment of anger and madness, perhaps in a spot of road rage, at a football game and even god forbid you dare, at your other half.

It always amazes me how some people are disgusted at this word. I dont see how it is any different to D!ck or Co*k. The things that annoys me the most is women that pretend to be offended by it.

Me and all my mates regularly use this word and I feel it is a brilliant addition to our English language. Sometimes I dont know where I would be without it.

What are your views?

Well said, I never think of the proper meaning when I use the word. For me it describes someone that you despise, hate, find contemptible etc etc. It's got nothing to do with ladies bits IMHO.

I love the way the word sounds, deep and guttural and you can drag it out to exaggerate your contempt for the beneficiary, like so

you caaaahhhnnnnttt

One of my favourite words in the English language

And just out of interest why in God's name would a woman want to get her **** waxed? I mean come on, why wax? Surely a trusted boyfriend with a steady hand and a cut throat razor would be far less painful.

Then again the term 'axe wound' could become far more appropriate than you'd think :D

Its the way forward thesedays. Personally I think its painful but nothing you cant deal with, lets face it, women have to have babies so what harms a little faff waxing gonna do? Its not about the amount of pain, its the benfits of it. Neat and tidy for weeks :D

Anyone else care to come on here and describe their genitalia?

But surely if you let it go a couple of weeks and ya boyfriend neglects to get rid of the old five o'clock shadow that velco effect has surely got to be a bit of a bummer.

"Hang on luv, me chins stuck. Gissa shove n I'll try again" :D
