Hi all, all seems to be very quiet. Yesterday on the pitch was a disappointing result but this week is so much more than any football match. so question is, will the takeover happen Friday as planned? I’ve not seen anything to suggest it won’t but nothing concrete to say it will. Anyone ITK got confidence one way or the other? Ticket sales already good fir Saturday. If we get good news Friday RH will be bouncing Saturday even more than usual

I could be wrong but I can't see it happening on Friday, Jon. I mentioned on another thread that I think a few people early on have merged the EGM date and the Takeover date into one and the idea of 17th Nov being completion day has spread. EGM is Friday evening and will be a big step if the resolutions carry as expected, but unless every other i has been dotted and t crossed (unlikely), and the contracts signed immediately after the EGM, then I can't see Friday being the day.

As I've said before, things change quickly with this takeover so I might be wrong, but don't hold your breath for Friday would be my advice.

Thanks mate. Can see what you are saying but certain when the 1st was said to not be the date I’m sure it was then said that the 17th could be the date. Then thought the EGM date came out a few days later. But nothing in life and business is simple and certainly not when it involves all things SUFC. But most importantly we want it done right with the right people in charge so if it’s delayed a few more days and weeks then so beit

Ron Martin is listed as subject on tomorrow’s Price Of Football podcast. Not spoke about us for a few weeks, wonder what’s gone on there?

On an optomistic note, I heard the club were trying to get the capacity capability increased for the chesterfield game because the completion this Friday was looking a very high possibility. Ive not heard anything different and hopefully its things like current settlement figures that are outstanding rather than anything too complex. Im still in the no news is good news camp until I hear of it not happpening.
