CUFC 2590 games 3005 points - 1.1602 pts per game

Their league record per match is better (equating to 2.3 points over a 46 game season)

A greater percentage of their matches have been played since the introduction of 3 points for a win?

Good call, I hadn't thought of that.

Which explains why the top 6 are all recent additions to the league all of their games are 3 points for a win.

There have been 72 competitive matches between the sides (71 really, because the 3-0 shoeing we gave them at Layer Road in the title winning season wasn't competitive at all) - we have won 29, they have cheated their way to winning 26 and there have been 17 draws. We've also scored six more goals in those matches.

Reading this thread made me realise that I know very little about Col U, so I had a bit of a browse.

Their First Full time manager was appointed in 1946 was Ted Fenton who left in 48 to go to West Ham whom he left in 1961 to manage Southend until he was sacked in May 1965

And i cant believe judging someone as scum because they support a different team is acceptable. They might live in a similar house in a similar street a few miles away but they are scum because of their team?

Do people chose their friends on the basis of what team they support? If so they must have pretty shallow lives.

Highest crowd at Southend was 21,000 lowest was 2,190. Highest crowd at Colchester was 12,360 lowest was 993.

Actually i meant head to head in the championship, I just wanted to whisper it.

Over the past 3 years they have probably been the better team of the two (although we are likely to have beaten them last season had we met)

However any length of time greater than that and we do come out on top. Plus, with the exception of highest ever position , all the accepted criteria of waht makes a "bigger" team do fall our way

Plus Col U have only had one season where their average home attendance exceeded 10,000 , we have had 5
