HK is progressing. Hotel quarantine scrapped. We are now down to lateral flow before departure then PCR upon arrival followed by no going into anywhere that requires an app scan (bar, restaurant, hairdressers etc) for 3 days. 3 more PCR tests, 2, 4 and 6 days after arrival and 7 days self lateral flow upon arrival. It’s ridiculous but hotel QT scrapped and we are edging slowly towards the real world.

100 percent mask wearing everywhere except when exercising. You can remove mask to eat or drink but not to smoke, even though smoking is not illegal. External public barbecues still banned. BBQ is big here. Many outdoor BBQ pits. This is the most ridiculous of all the restrictions. Oh and still only groups of 4. GBP 500 on the spot fines for all of the above.

Masks have to now be worn in all Essex Hospitals as rates of Covid have increased by 56% in the last 4 weeks, currently 106 patients are being treated for Coronavirus in Mid and South Essex NHS hospitals.

You were all right. Arms feel achy. I can still feel the injections and we're both washed out. Didn't do my jog today which I only don't do if I'm I'll. But worth it in the end. First time I've ever had a reaction.
'Other half' had her Covid booster on Fri. All weekend her legs felt weak & her arm ached, & she sounded like she had a heavy cold.
Back to 'normal' today, so got a weekends worth of housekeeping to catch up on!.
She's got her flu jab in 2 weeks time.

First of all I resent being called an "anti-vaxxer", which has just become a catch-all term for anyone who dared to question the effectiveness of lockdowns/masks/the vaccine, and another way for government and media to divide people. I am not anti-vaccines in general, I've never refused a vaccine before, I am just pro-choice and sceptical about one that was rushed through in less than a year, that people have been coerced or bribed into having, that seemingly has to be topped up every few months, and that has caused thousands of serious adverse reactions in this country alone.

As for saving my life, as a healthy young person my chances of dying from COVID are virtually zero. It's about weighing up risks and benefits. For me, the benefits of having the vaccine don't outweigh the risks, especially as it clearly isn't very good at stopping you from catching, spreading or falling ill with COVID.

Anyway, better stop before this is taken down for 'misinformation'.
Well my opinion of all that Is……totally unprintable…… and I’d prefer not to be banned from the zone.

Mrs RHB is up for her booster today. I'm hoping beyond hope that there is no reaction beyond an aching arm for 24hrs as its Dagenham on Saturday and we can't miss that.

She will be fine she is only a youngster. It's you we have to worry about,

Herself was fine for the remainder of the injection day, but she had uncontrollable shivering through the night and a king size head-ache yesterday. Paracetamol to the rescue and all is good today apart from the obligatory aching arm.

I would carry on with the Paracetamol for the next 24 hrs x

Reactions: RHB
Had mine last night, which was the Moderna Spikevax Bivalent Original/Omicron vaccine which apparently should boost my resistance to the original Covid 19 variant, and the new Omicron variant.

This morning arm aches.
