Playing staff all got paid but very recently the back room werent. Clearly there are still cash flow issues
Surly not I have been told on here we have a very capable & hard working CEO (lol ) just look around roots hall & the issues with paying cash for season tickets of course we have cash flow issues

Ogogo and can go! Has anyone see him play? I know he came from Bristol rovers with a big reputation but he has contributed nothing and I bet hes on a good wage! Time for demitriou to go,his wages can go on a younger better player.
Bit harsh on Ogogo seeing he has a health issue preventing him from playing

Tom came into a job that had been extremely mismanged for several years, it takes more than a season to fix that and the fact we still have financial problems doesn't mean he isn't doing a good job.

I make it a definite squad of 16 going into next season, I imagine that will be 18 at least.

Hoping Clifford signs a new deal, Gard I think will be retained more for team spirit and squad morale rather than first team chances (that's 18)

The most interesting pair for me is ANG and Akinola.

Based on what we know they're capable of, they're worth a contract. But I don't believe Akinola is going to ever be the same, and does ANG suit Kev's system, I'd suggest probably not.

Think bringing any of the loanees back is a pipedream but would love to be proved wrong

Demi got loads stick by idiots great servant
Just a thought, and this is a repeat from yesterday's post match thread.
The side galvanised after Demi's dismissal.
There was a post in the match thread reckoning he wasn't that bad an offender.
With us he's played 191 times, in which he's been yellow carded 51 times, shown red twice - three, if you count that horrendous assault for Cyprus!
That's a card one every 3.something games, if you'll allow the missing decimal point.
You can decide if he's a frequent offender.
Put another way, there's never much of a gap between a gobby Demi or an ill-timed lunge.
Yes, he's been here a long time, but can we do better?
Maybe, maybe not?

Agree with a number of the comments above about "loyalty" v "get rid". A bit more grace & kindness would be nice at times.

Also agree that the position with Akinola & A.N.G. is interesting - pity neither got a run of games to assist the management with their decision making ............ or perhaps the decision has already been made?

Why the “lol”?
Just convinced there’s more problems behind the scenes than we are being told hope I’m proved wrong just have to see what chairman Ron’s money tree produces this year maybe he is hardworking but one man holds the keys to the safe and not many trust him

I believe we have sold around 1900 season tickets which is below where many would have expected. With the new regime i was hoping we would exceed last years, but no doubt the fact that people cant pay by card has had a huge impact on this figure and in turn the income availabe

If you include the Cyprus red, it would need to include the approx 48 games for Cyprus and the in excess of 210+ for southend (Bromley was the 200th) This is a card every 4.7 games. So, using your method and ignoring the decimal its rounded up to 5.
A card every 5 games playing wing back or central positions isnt too bad. Its approx 8 over season.
Just a different view of it.
I understand JDs contract is already extended because of the number of starts this year, so like him or dislike him, hel be trying hard again next year I suspect. Hopefully, now we are better organised as a club he wont need to go in goal or manage the team next season, though I know he woud if required.

So if we have sold 1900 so far, and arbitrarily it's a 50/50 split between full cost and concessions, then that's £280250 income for the full price and £175,750 for the rest with a combined total of £456,000. Not surprising that the club have opted for cash bank transfer on that basis. All the steers coming out of the club suggest that it's tight cash wise but doesn't mean there are any more problems than is usual running a club of this size.

The reason is because we now play in the national league

I want to get a season ticket but I am finding it hard to get the cash together.

Every time I get some money saved another bloody bill comes in.

I might end up buying tickets for each game as we go along ---- I don't suppose I am the only one in this position.

Interest has dropped off massively after the Dagenham defeat.

Before that we had 8000 v Bromley, 6600 v Solihull Moors, 7200 v Grimsby and 7500 v Dagenham - over that stretch we averaged 7356. People thought we were going to **** the league. Then we went and lost heavily and our crowds basically overnight collapsed by a third to 5643 in the games that followed from Altrincham to Weymouth.

So interest on season tickets is likely down a third as well.

It’ll probably go up if we announce a raft of signings and get some more feel good factor back plus there are always people (maybe 25%?) who just buy late.
