How can an inanimate object be dumb? It is incapable of thought or emotion. By your logic then, so are spoons, bicycle pumps, ukuleles, coloured pencils.

It's the people that mis-use them that are "dumb".

It's crazy, our country is not perfect but surely our gun laws are so much better than the USA, pob for the President he knows this but he cannot get a vote through, cannot he bring in emergency powers to sort out ?
I have got to admit I don't know anything about USA laws

It's a shame that yet another school shooting is now just met with wearied acceptance. America had the chance to change after Sandy Hook, but if 20 toddlers (and 6 staff) being killed won't get gun control laws passed, then sadly I don't think anything will. So ****ed up.

It would appear that the constitution has been précised down to the extent that the meaning has been distorted wording has become a mantra.

Short of banning Christianity in America the best way to have prevented this guy from shooting Christians is to have not let him have a gun in the first place. Why does his motivation matter? I couldn't care less about why this guy decided to open fire, the only important fact is that he did.

Roughly 12,000 US citizens murdered a year by guns.

If everyone was armed, would that figure be higher or lower do you think?
