Well that was pretty grim viewing to say the least. Today we looked like a team of strangers who just could not get their game together, The second half was better from the first which wasn't hard to see and i guess at least we didn't lose and it's 4 unbeaten.

I don't recall many passes or moves put together at all, it was all a bit kick and rush and it will be another game we will not remember, we had enough chances to win it but alas once more our forwards could not hit a barn door with a bango.

...because we don't really trust ourselves.
Because we're more worried about them than getting them to worry about us.
Incisive one-touch comes from confidence and momentum: not our strongest suits at the mo.

Grim first half, a better second half. Disappointing that Bonne looked odds on to score with a header, but he thought otherwise. Gus's goal was sweet and the Tamworth commentators seriously got on my tits. Match report done.

Do think the back 3/5 or whatever we want to call it is the issue. Most of the time we don't need 3 CBs and would be better have the extra Mid or Forward to put pressure further up and in the centre of the pitch.

We didn't lose, best thing I can say about that really. We're far to inconsistent to challenge for the playoffs sadly.

You need to be competitive for whole of the game not 45mins.Normally getting a point away is good however if you want to make the playoffs which I dont think we will then 3 points are a must.
Most disappointing for those fans who attended to witness this

A disappointing first half but much better in the second and probably could have won it.

Do feel Danny Waldron should be given more of a chance and looked the brightest of the subs in his brief cameo.

Awful first half where we were slow and pedestrian with our passing. Far too easy to defend against and a lack of pace in the side was horribly exposed.
An improved second half where our passing accuracy and movement improved but we only had Gus' sweet strike from 20 yards to show for it.

Once again Bonne failed to put away a really good headed chance from a fine Tom Hopper cross in the second half.
Having said that Tamworth had what looked like a perfectly good goal ruled out just after we equalised when their big defender headed home a long throw. Even when watching the replay I could see no infringement.

Poor officials once more with nobody really knowing when a foul was/ wasn't going to be given. It was quite a niggly and stop start game overall.

One other observation which will no doubt prove unpopular, but I thought Nick Hayes should have come out and helped our defenders out on a few occasions to claim the numerous long throws into our box. He seemed rooted to his line though which concerned me.

A decent point after going behind, but ultimately I didn't feel we did enough (certainly as far testing their keeper) to warrant anything more.
Also, it shouldn't be forgotten that Tamworth are a part time outfit and if we are serious about getting into the play offs this season, then we should be claiming 3 points.
