SZ Trivia Challenge and Sporcle

A good NFL one here

http://www.sporcle.com/games/superbowl_winningqbs.php

I got all bar three - no good on the Miami Dolphins of the 1970s, apart from their hard as **** fullback Larry Csonka.

Great one there, but now hitting myself over the head for missing KC's winning QB in SB4. Gutted. Nearly missed SB5 as well, which would have induced tears on the answer reveal.

Csonka was a beast. Him and Riggins would be my dream backfield. Not a lot of sweeps or pitch plays there.

I think SB5 is a slightly controversial one, as another QB actually 'won' the game after coming on in the second quarter.

And here are a couple of great lines on Csonka from Wiki:

"He may be the only running back to receive a personal foul for unnecessary roughness while running the ball, when, in a game against the Buffalo Bills in 1970, he knocked out Safety John Pitts with a forearm shot that was more like a right cross.

"In a close game against the Minnesota Vikings in the perfect season of 1972, Csonka was hit in the back by linebacker Roy Winston in a tackle so grotesque it was shown on The Tonight Show. Csonka thought his back was broken and he actually crawled off the field. Once on the sideline, he "walked it off" and in a few minutes was back in the game."

Awesomeness indeed. Despite being a Skins fan, I have to give the edge in toughness to the Csonk over the Diesel.

Band members quiz.

28/30 here - hoe more people got the band that includes Rob Thomas, Kyle Cook and Brian Yale than the one that includes Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog I will never know
