As I said earlier in the thread, please don't go jumping for the 'donate' button just yet. I'd like us to reach at least £350 before we commit to sponsoring a player for the year.

Thanks to everyone for their great support so far, we're still about £90 short at present though.
 
All, we have secured the services of Paul Furlong.

As such, now is the time to start gathering money from you generous pledgers.

You can donate via the PayPal buttons that appear on the signatures of any of the owners, but when you do, please also send me a PM, with the name that your PayPal account is registered in, so that I can cross you off the list.

If you don't have a PayPal account, you can pay Cricko or Ken in person if you're in the Southend area, or send me a cheque if you'd rather do that. PM me and I'll give you my postal address.

Anyone who hasn't pledged yet can still do so, as the club has raised the ante this year and pledges are still short of the monies required.

Agree with one of the earlier poster, and it would have been good to get Herd. Would be a nice welcome. Still, I'm in.
 
I take it that the owners decided to go for Furlong as he is the player with the closest age to Cricko.
