You can volunteer to register for VAT regardless of turnover, the £61k is simply when it becomes mandatory. If you are spending out on a lot of VAT rated stuff, and not taking much in it would probably be worth considering - your accountant would be the one to ask.

Come on the rest of you. If a poor backpacker can spare a tenner then surely the rest of you can. I have had to forgive drink for a week for this. It hurts!! It hurts so much!!

Jay, your payment will take 7-10 days to clear so I am waiting for PayPal to advise me of clearance confirmation then I will let you know.
