Awww, that's a really rough draw for Queen - a brilliant band. But I can't vote against The Beatles - the band that changed the face of popular music.

Has to be the Beatles for me ....I loved Queen but seeing the Beatles live at Southend Odeon in my Yoof and how they changed the face of music in the 60's remains a constant for me ..

Sorry, but the Beatles were groundbreaking - listen to Tommorrow Never Knows ..... it could have been written by The Chemical Brothers in the 1990's with their sampling and looping.

Queen: Ben Elton wrote a musical about them...and going all lefty, they played Sun City during apartheid.....but that's neither here nor there as it's all about the toons and The Beatles were much, MUCH better.

Ben elton ?? and how does this degragde their music ??They played for the people at multi racel concerts , support Latin America as well .The beatles much much better .... nope first yes , out put amazing but better over all naw.

IMO The Beatles have about five good songs, and three of them were written by George Harrison. As for Queen, well there early stuff sounds like The Bonzo Dog Dooh Dah Band. Even Bohemian Rhapsody was just a copy, in style, if not substance of Stairway to Heaven (slow bit, speed it up a bit in the middle, then rock bit at the end). Somebody to Love is quite good, and is probably better than any Beatles track, so if forced to vote, I'll vote Queen, but will need to be forced.

tough call this one but Queen all the way, how many rousing beatle songs do you hear on the terraces.....:)

bugger.....or when you have won a cup
