If Kelly wanted to come he would have it's all about the £££ note's and we are missing out on a few now so we are not paying a top 6 wage

It’s not difficult to grasp what has happened here.

Kelly didn’t turn us down. Kelly didn’t want more money. Kelly didn’t “chase the £££ notes.

His Club wouldn’t do business with us. It’s that plain and simple. If we had agreed a fee with them, he would be a Southend United player, alas that didn’t happen.

People need to stop blaming Kelly in all of this.

Why? They wouldn't do business with us for financial reasons it looks like. Given what we know about our monied circumstances it's not surprising they took that stance.

If you were offered £10000 in instalments from 2 people. One who is known for always paying on time and respectable. The other has a legal battle for financial misdoings, is only taking cash for business and a continued history of late payment or in some case allegations of non payment. Which would you take?

Ultimately much of banking works from individuals credit ratings. The better your rating the lower the interest rate.

Which just goes to show that weird twists are not solely the prerogative of Shrimper Zone. I do often wonder on that.
