Black with a nice white crisp shirt is still top dollar for me, oh and of cos my Pink Clogs.

Now call me odd!

Black all the way, it's always, always cool.

Grey is a terrible choice, it makes you look weak.

I've got a lot of time for brown, but you've got to look good anyway to carry it off, it's very easy to look scruffy in brown.

I would go for white in a heartbeat, but I just haven't got the balls. One day. One day.

Grey weak? I refer you to the answer Lord Walker gave some moments ago.

Besides, you need to consider more than the just the suit. You need to consider the full suit, shirt and tie combination.

ps I can picture you as Boss Hogg.

Disagree,

Grey is old hat now mate. I am today sporting a brown suit which gets many a positive comment from customers and staff alike. In addition to this I also own a rather fetching Royal Blue number.

Grey is ok with a stripe I think but plain grey is a bit old now..

:thump:

Not so Dave. Grey suit, pink shirt, lovely.

With you re brown though. I sometimes get stick from the sort of people who think black is still the way ahead, but it's definitely a fine colour for suit.

That's you sorted then mate..Just have to grow your hair now .........Coff

P.s. Answer that Pm I sent you god knows how long ago.

What PM? The last one I have one you was asking my new album was out and I answered that!

You wait until the first pre-season friendly, then you'll witness the full force of my barnet.

*poings his curls*

Charcoal Grey, Black or Blue with a stripe.

Brown, Dark green, Light Grey etc are ok for local workers who wera suits but make you look like a hick from the sticks...

Whilst we are on this subject what is it with Brown shoes with Black trousers / suits I was under the impression this was an absolute no go area, but I have seen it a lot recently

Suit! Pa! Some of us go to work in jeans & a T-Shirt :)

Amen brother.

Although perversely, you quite enjoy the odd occasion when you have to wear a suit as a result!

To be fair, some people can actually pull off a royal blue suit if it's not too bright.

Not sur about brown in the city, 'never brown in town'' they used to say and for manyyears my firm did not permit brown.

Navy all the way, in the office,on the football pitch, etc.

Just bought a navy blue car by the way.

I fail to see the problem with blue ? :D

My Mrs says the same but about black shoes with navy blue suits.
She "suggested" I go and buy some brown boots when I had a navy suit in the wardrobe. It's funny, some mornings on the train you can see her teeth grinding when she spots a navy suit/black shoe combo!
