And I'm pretty sure they (the new owners) would want to make moneypretty sure new owners wouldn't be
And having set a club record for successive defeats!I really don't understand the narrative of "I'd write off this season"
We missed the playoffs by 2 points, despite not being able to sign a player for 90% of the season, players going unpaid etc, we done ever so well in a tough, tough league.
We're Southend United, and we should be arrogant enough to look at the teams in this league this year and not fear anyone. (Assuming we keep management and Miley, Bridge, Kensdale)
I guess I would too, but given a sale seems to be imminent I would hope it's not an either/or.I am happy to potentially write-off this season if the club is in safe(r) hands as a result of the takeover.
No I wouldn’t of sale is imminent why would we right this season iff?I guess I would too, but given a sale seems to be imminent I would hope it's not an either/or.
His first ever football match was watching SUFC at RH.I give it a few months and we'll have him converted to the 'way of the Shrimper'
This worries more than conforts me. When we all just seemed to be waiting for confirmation of the sale, this kind of implies that It could go either way. Just hope that I've read into this an ambiguity which is was not meant to be implied?
Jesus … ffs I’ll never forget the opening half of the first Match …13th August! Very late in the day, although the season started later due to Covid. Was made even worse though by the fact that everyone, from office staff to groundsmen to playing staff, had been furloughed. Players hadn't been kept in contact with until they were called back in for pre-season, they hadn't been given any dietary or fitness programmes, and many of them came back in pretty poor physical and mental condition. That season was just spectacularly under prepared for, before you even consider Molesley.
Spat my tea out superbI've done next to no work this week, my phone notifies me every time Southend, Chris Phillips and an apparent prostitute seeking, Des Lynan Loving insider, send a tweet.
What a time to be alive
Exactly how I feelThis worries more than conforts me. When we all just seemed to be waiting for confirmation of the sale, this kind of implies that It could go either way. Just hope that I've read into this an ambiguity which is was not meant to be implied?
I still think that opening game versus Harrogate was probably the worst result in our historyJesus … ffs I’ll never forget the opening half of the first Match …
amazing to think how poor Hobson was that day compared to now. I get he was young and it was first team footy rather than reserves but jeez…I still think that opening game versus Harrogate was probably the worst result in our history
That’s it Harrogate the Windsor of the north not even a great footballing name ffs broke my heart in two watching thatI still think that opening game versus Harrogate was probably the worst result in our history
It's not a "narrative" - it was merely a personal PoV I was expressing.I really don't understand the narrative of "I'd write off this season"
