I agree with Jim Stannard's analysis. I think we also need to give credit to Bradford's players. They were very much up for the game and they simply blew us away at times. Sturrock said they bullied us and I wouldn't quibble with that. I think several of our players had sub-consciously written off automatic promotion and decided that a couple of easier wins will see us into the play-offs. Thus they weren't up for a fight (although Benyon clearly was!!).

I said this too, a reaction to the Crawley game, and that it's also very characteristic of the way Parkinson teams have played against us in the past.

I think most agree that we should have 2 wingers!! Hopefully we start Monday like this given suspensions:

Belford
Grant, Phillips, Barker, Hills
Hall, Timlin, Ferdinand, Martin
Eastwood, Mohsni/Harris

We just need to build some momentum now, and really hope we can push on in the playoffs!!!

Indeed, Sturrock's peristence with Barker has cost us the top 3. Never know a player's level of performance ot drop so alarmingly between two seasons, has been shocking. Not only has he played badly, but he doesnt lead particularly well from the back, isnt that vocal. Phillips or Timlin would make a better skipper, and either Prosser or Mohsni would be better at the back. When you think Harris has been dropped 4 times after scoring a goal the previous game yet captain calamity gets picked every game, perhaps there is a bit of needle within the camp at Luggys favouritism.

I've had it with Sturrock, i've no affinity with the bloke and would rather have "one of our own" again, like Peter Taylor

Anyone who states that they'd rather stay down if it leads to a change in the dug out probably needs to think about watching their football somewhere else as far as i'm concerned. I hear there's lots of room in a stadium just down the A12.

This is why I can't understand the Sturrock bashing after yesterdays game, it was the same team and I'm sure he wouldn't have suggested playing a completely different style as the previous game, as that didn't work did it lads!!!

Therefore I'm sure he is as frustrated as the fans; I know I would be sending the same team out and watching the horrific difference in performance. I know though are league 2 players, so you expect some inconsistency, but not to the extreme we seem to be showing!!!
