I must admit, I know little about Simpson...?

In fairness he got thrown into the Championship straight from the Conference and not only that, it was a very poor Championship side to say the least.

At League Two level he'd be a very useful signing indeed. He's a midfielder that gets forward and scores goals as well, something we currently lack in Easton and Grant.
