My mate is a Palace supporter and said he was the best player on the pitch against United. Most of the people on their forums are calling for him to be permanently in the squad!

I was with a palace fan last week, who said they all think he has a great future ahead of him. Obviously he is still young and learning, but he is rated there as a great prospect.

I wonder if he hadn't have taken the decision along with the majority of the squad to go, Sturrock would have seen the potential that Dougie seems to have?

Would both he and Kane broken into the team ? Putting two youngsters into a league 2 Midfield would have been one hell of a decision

O'Keefe was ahead of Kane though wasn't he? Might have meant Kane waiting to come through as a central defender as he had played for the yoofs.

WTF would you stay at a club that didn't pay its players ??

I wasn't saying he SHOULD have stayed at all, I was simply talking hypothetically like Gt Yarmouth Shrimper has indicated.

IF we had paid his wages and IF he had stayed, all I'm saying is that him and Kane would have the potential to be a very decent midfield in a few years time, if not already.

anyone think we might be able to get him back on loan ricky duncan might have some influence:unsure:

Signed a new 3 year deal. Looks like they rate the lad, gave him his own almost 'new signing' esque news piece of him signing the contract on their OS.

O'Keefe pens new deal

Good luck to him. Hope he does well, just a shame it's not with us. Do we have a % on him? Assuming so.

We definitely don't have a sell-on.

How many games did he play for Palace last season?

Is Freedman still boss there?

19 games last season

Well done him and well done Ricky Duncan.

That's now three championship/league one quality midfielders he's developed in O'Keefe, Ferdinand and Moussa.

Are there any more in the pipeline? And can he produce other positions which are less about tippy-tappy football?

Seedy Njie probably stands the best chance out of the current crop I'd say. Livewire striker.

Well done O'Keefe and Ricky Duncan. He is highly rated by their support, and he is still so young. Could go on to do very big things!
