Do you think that £6 for standing in a field too see 2 maybe 3 trialists and mostly youth players is worth it? I have been speaking with a few people and they think its a joke.

We complain that Premiership clubs get all the money and not enough gets to our level, lets let the likes of Stambridge benefit from us to show we arent hypocrites.

I think it's about right to be honest. I would make it a nice round £5 myself and £1 a pint.

Would you pay £3 to come watch my Sunday league team play on sunday?

The problem with this game is they are a div 3 side in the Olympian league and am sure at some stage most who have played football have played in the league or higher so your saying your happy to pay £6.00 to watch park football

problem is though most football fans are hypocrites and show unjust bias.

Maybe so but did we charge our fans more for the West Ham game then our usual matchday price?

You can't make a straight comparison because they are playing a football league side and hosting it and using it to raise funds for their club. It's whether I want to pay £6 to watch Southend play that comes into it.

Many teams I play cricket against host a game against Lashings (ex pros) and this includes a fee. Same scenario I wouldn't normally pay for the privellige of watching Dave and Barry play v Joe and Norman but when Dave and Barry play against Bill and Ben then we are talking!!

I thought £15 was quite a lot for the West Ham game seeing as they wern't doing student discount. Do I think £6 is a bit much? Yes to be honest. Am I still going to go? Yes, as it's Southend United and enjoy trialist games as well. Always a good indication as to who we are looking at and also sometimes get a few screamers as well. This is a fund raiser for Stambridge and considering i normally pay £14 a game, I'm not too fussed.

Do Stambridge normally charge for their home games?

No!!!! they play in the Essex Olympian league http://fulltime.thefa.com/Index.do?division=8688736

Plus on your post above its £6.00 to watch Southend United ok granted thats fair do's but tonights game will be youth, trial players,Bentely and woodyard! A normal ressy game is free and thats in a football league ground and has many returning first players

Don't they normally differentiate these games by saying that a game is against Southend United or a Southend United XI. If this is listed as a first team game then I can understand it but if we have only committed to reserves, youth etc then I think £6 is too steep.

If someone wanted to go watch this game do you think £6 is enough to stop people going?

I think it will stop families going. Not sure about individuals.
